Our Team

Our District Team is made up of volunteers who support the delivery of Scouting to your people within our District. The District is managed by our District Lead Volunteer, previously called the District Commissioner. Our District Lead Volunteer is supported by a wider group of Team Leaders and Group Lead Volunteers. They are responsible for leading and inspiring volunteers to give young people great experiences and skills for life. They make sure the teams in their District are organised, have enough volunteers, and can deliver a great programme safely.

There are a whole range of volunteers in our District and at our Groups and Units with different roles. We have volunteers who work directly with young people and those who support behind the scenes, some of our volunteers get involved regularly and others help out occasionally. There really is a role for everyone!
